Our Team

Nancy Azpeitia

Nancy has been with Lopez Immigration Law for several years assisting clients with a variety of tasks. She is fluent in English and Spanish and helps with anything from incoming phone calls and scheduling appointments to preparing applications for submission to immigration. Nancy is a commissioned Notary Public and has completed the Catholic Legal Immigration Network’s Comprehensive Overview of Immigration Law course, both of which allow her to better serve our clients.

Nancy was born in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, but grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Because she is from an immigrant family, she easily identifies with the immigrant community we serve. She understands the sacrifice required to leave your home country behind and face adversity as a result and enjoys knowing her work helps our clients achieve their immigration goals. In her free time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family.

Yuliana Cervantes

Yuliana joined our team in 2023. In addition to her work, she is completing the coursework necessary for the Legal Studies/Paralegal program at Milwaukee Area Technical College. In the future, she plans to continue her education.

Yuliana was raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin and comes from an immigrant household. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and she desires to help others achieve the “American dream,” in the same way her family has. Yuliana is eager to learn more about immigration law to better assist our clients and to be part of your immigration journey.

In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and traveling with her family, especially to Cancun and California.

Janel Lopez

Janel serves as the Office Manager with Lopez Immigration Law assisting clients and staff with a variety of tasks. She performs accounting duties, assists with client mailings, and helps with general administrative tasks for the staff.  Janel earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Webster University.  She worked for 25 plus years in senior level Human Resource and Accounting positions, mainly in the manufacturing industry.  For work and pleasure, Janel has traveled extensively to many international destinations and enjoys learning about local culture.

Born in Wisconsin, Janel lived in El Paso, Texas for many years along with several years in Monterrey, Mexico.  It took her awhile to return home to Wisconsin, but she finally did in 2006.  She is a native English speaker and fluent in Spanish.
